I had new customer coming in from “fast- nail” service salon.
I felt incredibly shocked and sad to see how the nail tech didn’t take responsibility nor care of her customers nails and her health.
You clearly can see the lady’s nails had so much damage done to her natural nail and one of them leading to the loss of her nail.
As the nail tech- is your responsibility to tell customer the condition and make a choice to stop continuing bad work. It’s outrageous to keep continuing putting extensions and gels on under these conditions. Nevertheless using cheap products made out of plastic.
It’s your responsibility to educate your customer and take care of their health. Not taking money and letting them go uninformed of consequences that you and caused. Even if it wasn’t you- as the nail technician- it’s your responsibility to address it, no matter how uncomfortable that might be.

Happy feet - summer feet 🌸

Russian pedicure includes clean cuticle finish, trimmed and filed nails, removed dry skin. Leaving your feet super soft.
If you choose colour- it will be long lasting until your next appt. If you are having gels I would advice to book your next pedicure within 5-6weeks period to keep your nails healthy.
Wearing shoes daily can affect or damage your nail plate if the gel are left for longer than 6weeks.

I use Autoclave to kill every bacteria to make sure your nails and your health are protected.

Healthy nails is luxury nowadays.

The picture on the left is after the gel and cuticle removal, preparation. On the right, the nail is applied with Biab (builder gel in the bottle) for strengthening and creating base for applying the colour. Some people choose to keep it nude, neat and plain.

I’m sharing my own personal experience where my nails got damaged and not cared after one appointment in salon in city centre, also followed by another appointment that I wanted to get them fixed in another salon in Bury St Edmund’s.

I can see this happening not only to me, but others too.

I had and have new customers coming to me with damaged nails from “fancy” or “fast” salons locally or London.

Even before and more so after the removal I could see the damage already. It made me sad to see that those places (nail salons) didn’t care about your nails.

It was sad to see how many nails needed attention and care.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Never be afraid to ask the nail technician questions.

You will know what’s nail techs’s work ethic the moment you step into their salon.

Nowadays loyal customers plan and rebook their next appointment in advance before leaving the salon, leaving no empty space for last-minute requests.

Occasionally there may be cancellations. Life is full of surprises. Cancellation has its own policy too.
